Horror Poetry Set #004

THE ACCOUNTING
A life of evil
Finally being paid for,
In the afterlife.

THE ARMS OF EVIL
Evil surrounds us
Spreads its arms like a lover,
Calls us to our doom.

ATMOSPHERE HEAVY WITH GLOOM
Mood dark as thunder
Atmosphere heavy with gloom,
Evil soon appears.

BELOW
Demons at anvils
Working upon the lost souls,
Of those sent below.

THE DESOLATE
Life’s highs and lows bring
Hot, salty tears of despair,
From the desolate.

DUNGEON OF DEATH
A dungeon of death
Houses sallow-faced corpses,
Which rise again at dusk.

ELDER GODS WAR (Ct)
On doom-laden Yuggoth
Faraway in space and time,
Elder gods war.

THE IMMORTAL DARKNESS
Night’s spreading shadows
Hiding leering, slinking things,
Creeping up behind.

IN THE GRIP OF TERROR (II)
In terror’s tight grip
You flee through the horrid night,
Red-eyed fiends pursue.

THE LAND OF THE DAMNED
Minds of twisted killers
Bent on spreading terror,
Through this evil land.

THE MENTOR
Evil deeds performed
By a wicked master,
Passing on evil acts.

MIDNIGHT IN HELL (I)
Lost souls tormented by
Fiends with razor-sharp fangs,
And lethal black talons.

MIND CLOSE TO TERROR
Mind close to terror
Of slitherings in the dark,
Closing in on you.

A MOONLIT ALTAR (II)
Loathsome creatures crawl
Toward a moonlit altar,
Where fallen priests chant.

MORBID FANTASIES (Ct)
Morbid fantasies
Cthulhu is your lover,
Terror your only friend.

MUGGSLY
It was a nightmare
About a slug named Muggsly:
We all wish him dead!

A MURDEROUS HAND
A murderous hand
Raised to deliver pain through,
Thin, evil fingers.

THE MUSIC OF DEATH
Horrible wailing:
A satanic orchestra plays,
Music of death.

THE MUSIC OF DOOM (I)
Music resounding
Deep within your mind is,
Keeping you entranced.

NIGHT EAGLES
Night eagles flying
Just above the rooftops,
Watching you intently.

THE STREETS OF FEAR
Corpse-like creatures hunt
Through deserted streets where,
The living hide in fear.

DEATH DREAMS (II)
Death fills all your dreams
Terror your waking moments;
Fear your only friend.
