A Far Away Love
There comes a time when two must part
And follow life's unknown streets
But the feeling within a person's heart
Feels like a heart that's skipping beats.
The hurt, the ache, the agony, and sting
All flows throughout the body and soul.
Leaving one's inner self lying
There empty, sad, and cold.
Numbness and dreariness
Dominates the helpless remains.
For what universal power
May help this poor soul's veins?
One absolute and unique strength
Is what holds two parts together.
The bond that grows stronger with time
And what makes two live better.
The strength from inside is nowhere near
Since the distance is beginning to grow.
I long to hold you near, I fear -
I wish not to let you go.
Deep inside my soul, I know that
I will not lose faith in you.
For you helped me find happiness in life,
And made my dreams come true.
You are a person I will not forget
And a place in my heart I will keep.
My love for you is unique and divine,
And so I must not weep.
My love is like a gentle bird,
Just like a young white dove.
The unique power you give me
Is the strength I feel called love.
With closed eyes I can experience the warmth
The energy that radiates between two.
When it increases and is too much to bear,
You whisper to me, "I love you."
Those three words are just enough
To make me smile.
I see it in your dark eyes.
Your actions, your thoughts your masculine ways -
That's what makes me satisfied.
As time may pass while we're apart
Your memories may fade away.
But believe me, it's true, and I know I love you
In my heart you will always stay.
Oh, how unjust nature is - making us
Separate just like a bow and arrow.
But life must continue on it's course.
Damn the pain and the sorrow!
I hope for you good luck in life and in your future.
I hope you won't forget me.
The power that may bring us back together
Is the elusive strength called Destiny.
