Through His Eyes

Through eyes of hope, Man was created.
Through eyes of love,
Man was seen choosing sin.
Through eyes of grace,
Gods' plan was revealed.
Through eyes of compassion,
He Sent His only son.
Through eyes of mercy
He forgave as they hung Him on the cross.
Through eyes of sorrow, He carried mans sins.
Through eyes closed and lifeless
He was laid inside the tomb.
Through eyes filled with glory
He arose that victorious day!
Through eyes of the Lord and Savior
He will return for his bride the church.
Through eyes of great heartache
He will watch some turn away.
Through opened eyes please see Him,
So He may come for you some day.
