Thrones of Love

Thrones of Love

 Tonight will be the time
 For friends to become lovers
I've been dreaming of your voice
Let's meet at the spot where we first met
We'll pull apart the veils closed to public eyes.

 No fear for the showing
The purity of our essence exposed
A blending joy we'll find as we look upon
The peace we find in each other's eyes, exposed
Joys of love and lust filling the emptiness felt.

 Companion of my world
Friend, whose support makes it good,
We'll climb above the loneliness below
For we will ascend to the stairs of passion's throne
Finding the fulfillment reserved for the saints of Love.
