This Is My Heart

I'll show you I have heart... hold you close to it
Don't hold nothing back... move foward boldly to it
This love that's persistent, you work with me like an assistent
I grab you by the wrist and went, give you this kiss then you went.
Help me out, through these hard times, I can't slow down time. Even with a sharp mind. We've followed our hearts, and more than just partly find. That we hold more to the light then the worst of us. We still have love like the first of us. Time paints a picture beautifully the world isn't sunshine and rainbows, and the rain goes same time the pain goes, and comes down, we're still not bummed out, we've held it together, making a heart with our hands. Conquer everything that they said it isn't worth fighting for. Though they were dead wrong, what's in us isn't dead the fire hasn't been put out. The heart can walk barefoot through glass and still beats. My woman is qualified to withstand this struggled times where we turn fighters getting beat. Still standing on two feet.

Jon Otano

The topics I write about are very diverse, so are the poetry styles I apply. I started writing poetry in high school in 05. I had written some poetry during class and showed some of my classmates who enjoyed it! I then was chosen to have my poetry in the school newspaper for each month! I done a lot of my work in the library. I met a woman who i showed my work to that worked there, and she said she knew a man that works on the radio! Then i was able to read two poems off the radio. A news reporter who appeared on the station as well decided to do a report on me and I've been writing ever sense. :) If Anybody want to friend request me on Facebook feel free too! Just look up Jon Otano I should be easy to find! :) more…
