Guilty Conscious

I can't recall,
My guilty conscious...
Coming into play.
No matter what it say,
I did it my way
I see the agony on peoples faces.
The ones I loved, no not to make purchases!
My love is free and it roams freely,
On this enchanted, coast.
Where I avoid things, and take another dose.
My eyes are close. Angels on my eyes!
I breathe the dust. That told me to hide
Everything that's good I hide.
I hurt the ones I love, but I feel I can't decide
Stuck in between, and lean towards things,
That made me feel someone has taken my pride.
I achieved nothing, by this guilty conscious I can't recall.
I can't choose sides, therefore I'm beaten by it all...

The topics I write about are very diverse, so are the poetry styles I apply. I started writing poetry in high school in 05. I had written some poetry during class and showed some of my classmates who enjoyed it! I then was chosen to have my poetry in the school newspaper for each month! I done a lot of my work in the library. I met a woman who i showed my work to that worked there, and she said she knew a man that works on the radio! Then i was able to read two poems off the radio. A news reporter who appeared on the station as well decided to do a report on me and I've been writing ever sense. :) If Anybody want to friend request me on Facebook feel free too! Just look up Jon Otano I should be easy to find! :) more…
