This Girl

During the day, she is a crisp autumn breeze
Stirring everything in the forest of my mind; causing the opposite of tranquility
Rustling the very core of me, from my branches, and to my leaves
At night, she is the everlasting light that casts itself upon me
Spitefully mocking me, as I grow wary, and lonely

She has unparalleled beauty which can translated through any language
Her soft yet distinguished physique causes my heart to tremble
Yet at the same time, that very aspect causes my courage to engage
She makes me do things I never dreamt I'd do out in the open
Naked to the public eye and a target for judgment
Shoot at me all you want, for I pay no mind
For while your eyes are mocking
Hers are lighting up, with soft hues, oh so kind

She just laughed! Did you see it? She was looking right at me!
She found me funny, or cute---maybe both!
Her grin just sparked mine as if paralleled through a mirror of destiny

For I have never met this girl, she exists only in my thoughts
One day I will meet her and we'll make both our dreams come alive
She will be my compassionate queen and I will be her devout king
I'll be the guardian to her temple, and to be a better man for her I will strive

We will enwrap each other in cares in a bright new beginning

We just have to be patient, and wait for that fateful time
When God decides to bring us together and and intertwines our souls
So then I'll finally be able to proclaim to those mockers
That I have found the reason to my rhyme
