Someone Just Like Me

Imagine someone just like you.
Someone who understands too.

Someone who thinks the same.
Someone of whom you're not ashamed.

When you want to know if you're right or wrong,
Or even when you're weak or strong.

When you need someone to just agree,
Or to help open your eyes to see.

It's like talking to your inward self,
Or having a magical little elf.

It helps to know they are here today.
To help put me back on my way.

It's nice to know they care a lot,
And all the kindness won't be forgot.

It's nice to have someone just like me,
That's my friend who helps me see.
