Silent Storm

Does the sky fall in blue drips where you are?

'Cause out here in this storm I can only see so far

You'd think I'd be lonely, but I'm flooded with these dreams

These dreams that never stop, of me and you, so it seems

That we're perfect and together and it's love from the start

But from your small-talk, I know you've never heard my heart

Blue atmospheres turn so clear when you're standing near

Miles away, I still know that voice, sweet mumbles I hear

The rain, how it thunders! The lightning, how it strikes

Down my skin, down my breath, down the heartbeat spikes

Sweeter now, sweetly, the electricity dies to a spark

Barely lighting the night, dreamy navies in the dark

The storm is now calmer, yet my love for you roars, but

You can only hear a whisper, behind oblivious closed doors

If you can hear me, then speak to me, if not, let it be the day

Even if you never love me, I'll love you anyway

The storm, how it dies, the wind left with no rain

Hear it call to me softly, stroking 'gaint the windowpane

Where you are, the sky never fell in drips of blue

It never will, but I'll call you mine, though I never had you
