Poets are quiet

Almighty was so much pleased on poets
But all the poets were standing with frown faces and quiet
He asked one of his aids to know the matter
He came with request from poet on subject matter

“I want to become owner of the site” he had asked for blessings
“All right you become owner “but see nothing goes missing
No alienation of fellow poets and more over don't turn head strong
Stay with new comers and support them even if they go wrong

God gave him whatever he wanted and allowed one site
Soon trouble started brewing in and ensued the thought's fight
He wanted upper hand and tried to act as teacher
Rest all readers too wanted to be preachers

“Restrict poets to number of 100” he ordered his administrators
Poor administrators were helpless guys and under the influence of mentors
“This will send wrong signal, sir” one of the administrators pointed out
“Oh, throw them out if they object” there is nothing more to talk about

“I am head strong and will do whatever I want” he asserted
I am owner too and have the right for my views to be inserted
Almighty was watching carefully and smiled at aids
“See, this poor poet turned owner! He has forgotten the rules already laid

“What will be our next move”? How to bring him under control?
He will die his own natural death “if he does not respond to popular call
God smiled gently and reminded aids about his blessings
What were they expected to do in case he went after mad chasing?

He will be sent to poetical asylums where he will have limited poets
Rest will beat drums around him and he will watch the fate
He will watch them to perform at his whims and enjoy
We can do nothing to prevent him from getting such kind of joy

Certain people deserve nothing even if they are blessed
They stand no where even if their back history is traced
Poets are not trained by individuals and poetry is god gift

This is divine circle and in prayers form which no one can afford any shift

Hasmukh Mehta

am an ex-serviceman from Indian Air force. I joined Oriental Insurance Company and retired from there too in May, 2007. I have been graduated from Punjab University. I hold technical qualification like Diploma in Radio/engineering .I have done English and Hindi stenography as well. I had mastered the art in Morse telephony too. I am associated with several welfare organizations and served long time as Union leader too. I am at present working as hobby writer. I write poems on various subjects and invite suggestions from all the quarters. I have written one memoir named “As I see it” and ready for publication. One interesting part of writing I would love to share with all my reader friends. I am not sure weather it may be the same case with all as I do not want to be caught in any controversy. When I sit on my personal computer, there is absolutely no thought in mind as to what is to be picked up as thought and written. These all things I leave it to the discretion of almighty to fill my mind with relevant ideas. So far I have been graced by Him and as result able to compose about 4000 poems. I have be awarded with 4 achievement award from the www.ezinearticles.com for successfully meeting with their standard. I am writing on many sites so as to be associated with reader friends all over the world. I am thankful to all those who have supported me in my initial days. more…
