Perfect Me.

Perfect me. I have to be.
I'll cut away the part of me
That hinder my strides
To where I need to be.
To be happy.
To be free.

I'm so scared. And alone.
In a prison I've built.
Out of shame and of guilt.
I thought I was making harmony,
A beautiful symphony,

But really I'm destroying me,
Until there's nothing left of me.
