Mother

I know the miles that come between,
make it difficult for you to be seen.
we were once the closest we could be,
That all started with your pregnancy.
As I grew older we drifted apart,
but your always on my mind and in my heart.
We talk on the phone, and write some letters.
But being with you is so much better.
This closeness I'll never have with another,
because of our special bond my loving Mother.

Tina Copfer

I have always enjoyed writing, not only by things that happen or dreams I have..I never really spoke up in my life, always shy..Writing things down, and my feelings always worked best. I have a love for all people in my life and try to touch their hearts.. My God is always first, and he guides me in all aspects of my life! I have several poems in Anthologies, and a few awards..Thank you for reading my poems, I hope you enjoy(ed) them! God bless you! more…
