Twas the night before christmas

It's the night before christmas and I'm still awake,
adding up all these bills for goodness sake.
our stocking are hung and I will be too,
with no money for bill's what will I do.
Maybe santa will bring me some money this year,
that jolly ole soul and his eight reindeer.
with a ho ho ho and rosey red cheeks I'll sneak down to take me a peek.
When all of a sudden I hear this big roar,
quickly I run out my bedroom door.
It must of been all those cookies that santa ate,
cause this jolly ole soul gained alot of weight.
Now I know why rudolph was added to the sleigh,
400 pounds this guy must weigh.
He made me think my problems were slight,
so now  can sleep the rest of the night.
so don't be alarmed if you here a big roar,
it's probably just santa hitting the floor.

I have always enjoyed writing, not only by things that happen or dreams I have..I never really spoke up in my life, always shy..Writing things down, and my feelings always worked best. I have a love for all people in my life and try to touch their hearts.. My God is always first, and he guides me in all aspects of my life! I have several poems in Anthologies, and a few awards..Thank you for reading my poems, I hope you enjoy(ed) them! God bless you! more…
