Loudly Hidden

One of my older poems from when I was like 14

My soul whispers
My eyes show
The secret emotions
That with me grows
I try to hide
My small mystery inside
But the joy that fills me
Is quite easy to see

My soul soars
My eyes shine
The emotions pour
For this bliss is finally mine

We care not who knows
For our love forever grows
Our hearts in each other's hands
Forever will our love stand

More than you can ever know
I love you with all my soul

My writing is a way for things to flow out of me that I didn't even know was within me. By sharing it with all the other poets out there I can rebuild my strength in myself. I can free my soul and let it soar in the stars. Let the wind rip me free of the being that carries my emotions. Poetry is my heart beat. more…
