A whisper of love

With each breath of life
I shall whisper to you
The words of my soul
Burning with emotion
To caress your heart
Something which is chaotic
In the world of words
Cloaked in mystery
And buried in secrecy
Love

With each breath of life
I shall whisper to you
The words of my heart
Beating a melody
The song coursing my veins
Something that builds
In the river of time
Dancing in moments
And kissing the world
Love

With each breath of life
I shall whisper to you
The words of my essence
Flowing for eternity
Always to be heard
Something that brings light
In the dark of life
Warming souls
And spreading bliss
Love

It is that word
To which I shall whisper
Wiht my soul, my heart, and essence
To you
To the world
It is the whisper
A whisper of love

Jillian Veitenheimer

My writing is a way for things to flow out of me that I didn't even know was within me. By sharing it with all the other poets out there I can rebuild my strength in myself. I can free my soul and let it soar in the stars. Let the wind rip me free of the being that carries my emotions. Poetry is my heart beat. more…
