Lost to History

I am feeling
  shock,
  outrage,
  anger,
  hurt,
  pain,
  emptiness,
  helplessness
  and frustration
    all at the same time.
What is the cause for all
these emotions of mine?

Like when a fence cuts off a trail,
and I must make an unwanted turn;
Like when one of my cats goes outside,
but does not return;
The profile and poems of a poet were deleted,
every single line;
But there was no warning,
reason or rhyme.

So many wonderful things
the world will never again see;
Sadly, they all have been
lost to history.
