STARS once found at night
are quickly lost in light
Shadowy in-flight
they're hard to excite
MOODS heatedly felt
are quickly lost to melt
Put-on and misdealt
they're hard to unbelt
DREAMS asleep that take
are quickly lost awake
Obtuse to opaque
they're hard to remake
THOUGHTS of novel kind
are quickly lost to mind
Ahead or behind
they're hard to unwind
VOWS espoused posthaste
are quickly laid to waste
Embraced or displaced
they're hard to lambaste
