Down To Earth

People who are "down to earth"
often come from humble birth
often come from meager mirth
often come from brutal dearth
often come from low self-worth and still rise to the top
People who are "on the ball"
often appear giving all
often appear off the wall
often appear standing tall
often appear with the haul and still rise to the top
People who are "up in arms"
often live on false alarms
often live on funny farms
often live on bogus charms
often live on doubtful harms and still rise to the top
People who are "in the know"
often have a golden glow
often have plenty to show
often have gifts to bestow
often have ducks in a row and still rise to the top
