Just stay away

I feel better when He's not around at all.
He reminds me of my failed love.
It hurts because I want something from him that I can't have,
and I've finally stopped hoping for it.

When he looks at me or touches me the way he used to
It hurts.
Before It made me feel special and made my heart flutter.
Now I just get mad and am reminded of all his let downs.
He thinks He is helping,
but He is only teasing me.
I'm mad at him for that.

When He is around It's hard to stay away.
He tells me He loves me.
I love him too.
How am I supposed to get over him when these feelings are being expressed?
