I Begrudge You My Forgiveness

Ambitions end at death, but mine begin right now
You shall see the outcome but never realize how
When the marbled feeling comes knocking at your door
When the suffocate you like the legs of Parisian whores
Know I am upon you like the Ocean to the land
The deluge will engulf you like you neck between my hands

Yes, my anger has me dreaming of ways to see you fail
Like religion is my zeal, my hate the iron nails
Death is like ambition so it seems I am His pawn
And number like the selfishness that moves the billions strong
The horror of epiphanies is they come upon as light
And shatter every cloud I've reigned to blanket me in night

So I lay aside ambition and hoist a different sail
Yes, my anger had me dreaming but it was I who was to fail.
