Sandstorms

Through the sandstorms fury
 Can the violence tell?
 If water as depleted
 From our secret well
 Are you unaware
That night is long behind you,
That amorous as pain can be
 It does not define you
 Yes, I see your eyes
 Tremble in the wake-
 Of a violent storm
 That will soon abate
Then peace will kiss your soul
And the water will come fast
 The sandstorm rages now,
But in time this too shall pass
 So we drift together
 Through the violet storm
 To take on bitter sorrow
 And somehow transform
 Anger into serenity
 And pain again to peace
Though it's hard to see the light
 When the storm won't cease
 Do not tell the winds
 Command them to their source
 Scream into the air
 Until your voice is hoarse
You'll see your voice betray you
For what is it but air?
 Bound to the inconsistencies
 Of a solar flare
 You will learn what Silence
 Itself, can only heal
 Though the storm reminds you
 Just how bad you feel
 Stretch forth both your arms
 And ride the violent wheels
 Until you'll see how much
 A storm will then reveal.
