God’s Spangled Banner

Jose can't you see that Dawn just isn't right.
Oh how loudly she wails –long into the night.
And over on Rampart, there's a terrible sight.
Lights gleaming, cops screaming, beating –people burning to fight!

But there's proof there's someone who'll stop this horrible fright.
Whom we can turn to, and yearn to who's really got the might
O'er the land and o'er the seas, His loving banner you will see…

Over you and over me –His love'll make us free,
Jose yes that love spangled banner yet waves
Jesus' cross has set us free and given us –Heaven's home of the brave.

David Marion

I am merely a passionate soul, experiencing love in all the wrong and right places. The challenges of life are the paints in my pallet. My art and my writing are the brushes which help to spread the love, joy and pain I experience across the canvas of my life. My passion is to inspire all whom I encounter, in word or in person, to move from where they are, to where God has designed them uniquely to be. "Each person was created as the solution to a problem that God knew would exist." more…
