Enough to Sigh

I don't love you now, enough to sigh.
But I loved you once, enough to cry.
My blindness was another's disguise,
My silent voice was your surprise.
The love that bloomed has seen the snow.
It tried to survive, but we both know
Love needs more than the chance of dawn
It needs some fuel to carry on.
My love for you, like a petrified wood,
Can only mirror what once was good.
Before you went away,
to find a place to stay,
To wait until today,
but I've gone old and grey.
I don't love you now enough to sigh.
But once I loved you enough to cry.
And in an obscure fashion,
From lack of any kind passion,
I cried.
I sighed.
And then,
Love died.
