Dialectic of the Lost IV

We crash against
the unforgiving shore
of collective perception.

Jagged gestalts -
Love, Justice, Identity -
piecemeal placeholders
In a wild sea that never rests.

I want to be I AM,
peacefully amid the rest.
I am scared to enter that flow -
there is grace in its unyielding,
but is there any respite
from the predators -
human and not?
