Deception not known

One day into my heart these words came,
Write poetry for "My glory" not your name,
Yet there will be some who won't find it funny,
When I say there is no santa or easter bunny,
All caught up in things  that are not the truth,
Teach them there is a fairy who takes their tooth,
We lie to our kids about things not necessary,
Teach them to believe in santa the bunny and fairy,
The fact I am trying to bring into focus,
Is,that when we teach hocus pocus,
When it comes to God how will our kids believe,
Because their whole lives we tried to deceive?
