All Of My Dreams Have Flown Away

I wonder where I have gone wrong. Life is not as they sing in a song
I try, and cry, and try some more. My heart aches, but what's it all for? When I sometimes don't know what to say
Why have my dreams flown away?

I'll never have that comforting love
Or that sincere bonding of. A husband and wife, so deep, so true
A friend forever, but somehow I knew
My life would continue to lead me astray
While all of my dreams have flown away

I will never hold that longed-for child
Or be famous, or rich, or even styled
I'll never know happiness and luck
Just an unfulfilled life of being knowingly stuck
In a cold, dark space, not seeing the day
Of when all my dreams had flown away

I still wonder if things will change
And how I wish I could rearrange. All the decisions I have ever made
If all things could never fade. And if only I didn't have to say
that all of my dreams have flown away.
