All in a Day

Someday I might see a new bird fly across the sky
Someday I might see a cluster of new stars fall by
Someday I might walk tall in clean new grass
Someday I might not mind the minutes that pass
Today is not that day (sigh-alas)

One day I saw a dust sprite on the road
One day I saw a little h*rny toad
One day I saw a far distant race
One day I saw emotions on your face
Today is not that day (load-for grace)

When someday turns to one day I might love again
When someday turns to one day I might say if then
When someday turns to one day I might see the sun on me
When someday turns to one day I might actually be free
Today can be that day (when-I see)

Someday-One day-Today it's all the same
Just another name-claim to fame
Someday-One day-Today it's round about
Just another shout-out no doubt
Today can be that day (game-reroute)
Today

Rowine Conley

Writing is not something I do--it's something I am. I have been a wordsmith since before I could write. I have now written 2 novels, 6 children's books, several short stories, and boxes full of poetry. I am now disabled but I still have a day job. I have 7 sisters, a dog and 2 cats (one has only 3 legs), A daughter, numerous "God-daughters", A son, and a few "God-sons". I am Extremely Biblical though I don't really follow organized religion. God is my life and I have truly been blessed-For God By God...Peace Out__Gypsy Row more…
