A Child Lost

Lost within your own mind, a boy I cannot find

I pray that they'll go quiet and you'll finally hear my voice, but I know that you're imprisoned deep within  the noise.

I see you on the ledge; I'm trying to pull you in, but as I get a grip those voices start to win.

I'll gladly take your place and dance in the chaos and celebrate the madness then see my child lost.

I'm def don't consider myself a poet I started writing after my sister passed away...Just to try and express myself with out having to throw my misery or sadness on anyone else.... At times my poems are dark but that's just how I felt at the moment more…
