A Soldiers Roar (UPDATED PLEASE RATE)

I am man hear me roar
Sent by cowards out to war
While they sit high at the top
As I watch my brothers drop

I am man hear me roar
I stand here as  bullets soar
A true soldier down to the core
Shedding blood for my country
My home a distant memory

I am man hear me roar
As I fight this war in Nam
For the sake of uncle Sam
I come home a broken man
From the things that I have seen
Watching all my brothers bleed

I am man hear me roar
Waking up in these cold sweats
Things I've seen that I regret
Baby killer you should burn
A soldiers welcome upon return
I hang my head as if in shame
While the Bankers take no blame

I am man hear me roar
I fight here on foreign land
Drafted in but still I stand
I storm this beach as bullets fly
Bombs cascading from the sky
Bullets hitting brothers die
The only time a soldier cries

I am man hear me roar
Voices heard from every where
My gun is gripped my eyes are flared
While bankers  sleep without a care
A soldier roars from these nightmares

I'm def don't consider myself a poet I started writing after my sister passed away...Just to try and express myself with out having to throw my misery or sadness on anyone else.... At times my poems are dark but that's just how I felt at the moment more…
