Light and dark

Where there is light the darkness is not far behind
These are my thoughts running through my mind
Happiness and sadness at the same time I feel
Constant madness of never knowing what's real
No trust in words they're easy to say
They flow from the mouth and I always pay
How can I trust what I can't see
If you say you care then simply show me
I've closed my heart so it can no longer break
I've handled more than any man should take
There is more darkness always slowly creeping in
Show me the light so my healing may begin
