Reality Check

When reality kicks my heart will break
Can no longer stand it how much can I take
I give my all to be ignored
I don't know what to say I guess I'm just flawed
Always there always listen always fighting the battles
Why am I never good enough my mind just rattles
What does it take to simply be loved
Do I need to be blessed from someone above
Looks money power is what you need
I'll never have any of those so I just concede
A good heart mind soul means nothing anymore
They always get ripped out and trampled on the floor
I should become a shallow asshole because that's what it'll take
That's all it seems to take to find a fake
F*ck it it's not me I can't do that to myself
I'll just shut the f*ck up and put my heart on the shelf
No longer looking for any type of fun
I'll just remain lonely and miserable now this poem is done.
