Dreamcaster
Donald James Kirby Von Koehler 1965 (Burien)
Dreamcaster
She's a beauty so elegant, and so uniquely fine,
She's an angel sent from heaven, meant to be all mine.
My heart's a drifter, my soul is the guide of my destiny,
My eyes are open to the future, and what's in store for me.
I visualize her in my dreams, as if she's already come to life,
That perfect soulmate, that perfect love, my eternal wife.
My imagination is aflame, my passion burns so strong,
The feeling I have for her, is too right to ever be wrong.
She's a dreamcaster, She's my vision of love so divine,
She's the passion of my heart, I'm ready to tow the line.
She's a dreamcaster, She comes to me, truth in her eyes,
She's leading me with a glance, to the depths of paradise.
All the days I wandered through, the desolate lonely strife,
everybody told me, it was time I really got a life.
Although I couldn't perceive it, true love: imagine it I could,
and even though I needed to, avoiding it: I would.
I never realized how much I could need someone to share,
each moment of every passing day, someone to be there.
As I age, and my past fades in the haze of all my yesterdays,
I do believe, I truly have grown wiser, in oh so many ways.
She's a dreamcaster, and I'm ready for her to be with me,
She ran off with my heart, and never returned the key.
She's a dreamcaster, and she makes my dreams come true,
She frees me from sorrow, She takes away my every blue.
