Jokers Of Society

Jokers Of Society
Souls of sadness, we see them all around,
while many others are soaring heaven bound.
Today we find our society in the depths of pain,
like a long lost lover left standing in the rain.
you look into eyes of confusion staring blankly ahead,
some of them thinking they are better off dead.
you know if they were to look closer into the light,
they just might realize the perils of their plight.
Jokers Of Society-Wild cards in the deck of life,
wandering aimlessly through self made jungles of strife.
Jokers Of Society-thinking nobody could ever understand,
the pain they live in thinking nobody will lend a hand.
Where I stand I see there's a better way to go,
I've searched my heart enough for me to know.
Life is what you make it things are never so bad,
If only they could see it they wouldn't be so sad.
Misery loves company as love hardly gets in a word,
so many sad songs are sung too much depression heard.
What ever happened to having dreams for today?
Is the memory erased? Is there a place for P.M.A?
Jokers Of Society-Thinking life always treats them rude,
many have never heard of a positive mental attitude.
Jokers Of Society-thinking they're cool in leather and chains,
while much of their time is spent wracking their brains.
