The Equalizer
Luis Enrique Jimenez Jr. 2000 (Los Angeles, California)
Come one.
Come all.
I am in no place to judge.
I’m happy you’re here.
may you find comfort,
on my breasts.
On a bustling city street,
or in a filthy lot-
should you ever feel blue,
just know you have a spot.
That man had a family
and this women practiced law,
but none took to affect-
throughout the slippery fall.
Do not be discouraged.
Don’t be ashamed.
There is pride in knowing we’re the same.
For me the world is black and white
right and wrong to you is life
like many others too.
Rags or Riches
will hold a grudge-
they have nothing to lose.
Come one.
Come all.
I am no one to judge.
