This is Just to Say

Luis Enrique Jimenez Jr. 2000 (Los Angeles, California)

I have flushed
my ring

at the carrousel gift shop

and your Promise
is in the trash
where it always
should have been

My apologies
I was upset
that you had failed me
again.
