First Mothers day

She woke with a feeling terror and dread,
her son standing at the foot of the bed.
"morning mommy" he said with a smile
"I made breakfast just lay there a while"
her fist tightened and gripped the bed spread

Her sister warned of the horror this day:
"when he's five he'll head to were you lay
with intensions pure he'll offer you a plate
of handmade food and a chance to sleep late,
BUT what he did to your kitchen will bring dismay"
