Bubble Wrap and Cotton Wool

In emerald gaze, I found my muse,
Her eyes, a verdant meadow's dew.
With every blink, a silent cue,
A world in green, I wish to peruse.

Wrapped in bubble wrap, she'll stay,
In cotton wool, soft and pure.
A heart so bold, yet demure,
I vow to guard her come what may.

Not a tear shall mar her cheek,
Nor sorrow's shadow cause her rue.
In love's embrace, forever true,
Her happiness is all I seek.

For in her gaze, I see my fate,
A love so deep, it must be fate.
I wish only to wrap her  in bubble wrap and cotton wool never to emotionally or physically hurt her, to protect her always.

So let the world spin and twirl,
For I'm lost in love with a green-eyed girl.
