Playtime

The child sits and plays pretend-
Creating worlds
From within.

Matters arise in varying scales,
Offering new degrees
By which stories do tell.

Unaware of what has been done-
Evil has erupted and
With ignorance they come.

Where the ignorance/innocence ignite,
Worlds go to war
Which perspective is right?

Playtime is over, child is done.
Time to lay down
Tired from fun.

Seemingly wicked and untrue,
Dreams are distorted.
Not by me! Who are you?

Had it created on an uneven keel?
Because with ALL thought,
Their feelings are felt.

Plans to sleep with one eye open
Can I stay awake in each-
As the one truth unspoken?

No judgements are passed,
It created this mess.
Despite their beliefs, this isn't a test.

As it tries to sleep and stay awake,
"Is eternal restless rest
What is at stake?"

Then an answer appears!
A thought from beyond-
It's own? Listens and hears:

I am already each one.
All different versions-
This could be fun!

Looks outside itself to see
If.... it is! My reflection.
Stop trying to fix and let it be.
