When Souls Dance

I've known you forever, if forever were 7 days.
It feels that way at least; possibly a past life somewhere far away.
Words we speak say less than when we share a physical space.
Our souls speak on behalf of what our mouths cannot say.
Our spirits become one and dance together happily.
While our bodies are guided closer for effortless intimacy.
From a single glance or smile to a deep stare eye to eye.
As feelings flow from some secret sacred place inside.
Most would say that love is either earned, learned, or owed.
But this love is inevitable, uncontrollable, beautiful and bold.
The word love cheapens the wave of joy we currently share.
As the universe pushes and pulls our journey here and there.
Call it soul mates, twin flames, or kindred spirits as we may be.
The 7 days of forever and dancing souls surpass love as we become complete.
Years will pass and old we will grow, expecting a dimming flame.
But brighter we will glow and stronger we become to prepare our next lives, that we shall meet again.
Yours I was forever and forever you were mine.
Thank God for 7 days, deja vu, and infinite time.
