Midnight’s Dust
Sarah Brower 1995 (New Jersey)
Moonlit ashes scattered
spelling out satin lullaby’s
hushing chaos around me
Chaos obeys
serenity and tranquility
moons glow breathing life
into darkened lips
Giving stars heimlich
to illuminate its lungs
