Addicting obssession

You're so sweet
Sweet as a candy
Candies irritate me
When their sweetness stays on my tongue
Yet your sweetness is my favorite kind
If for you, diabetes is a pride
God I love the color of you eyes
Your breath gets me high
And I adore the softness of your thigh
You're not mine, I say with a sigh
There's nothing I want more than your love
And I love you more than the god

Yet there's no rehab for this addiction
So I breath you again,
and you get me high again.

About this poem

I wrote this for a potential lover that was constantly on my mind. Love is like an addiction, and it makes you lose your senses, and it makes you ignore your survival instincts which is highly dangerous.
