Picture This

Imagine...
You're in love with me

What had you fallen for?
At what moment did you know?

For me...
I felt your soul entwine with mine the moment we met
I melt by the gentle yet stern tone in your voice
I lose myself in your eyes when you stare at me

For me...
I could get lost in you forever

Imagine...
Spending eternity together

Past life lovers

Present in the ether

Katrina R Lippolis

I began writing poetry at the age of 15, when I was first introduced to the genre. By age 19, it became a hobby. At age 36, I self published my first poetry collection, The Way We Fall: Love Amid the Thistles, in 2020. Which met with great praise. I look forward to perhaps sharing more poetry in the future. In the meantime, when I'm not writing, I enjoy cooking, learning about tarot, astrology, numerology and reading on meditation. more…

This tells of a love a first sight, but they are those who think that there is no such thing. Whatever the position on this, this poem, simple in diction, is not badly written and speaks of strong love.
    Good read!
