LET MY WISHES FLY

Suzana Samuel Nomiri 2002 (JALINGO)

Let my wishes fly,
Like comets in the sky.
Let it sparkle like a star,
That stares from afar.

Let my gratitude rise,
With a fragrance that smells nice.
Ascend to thank my Creator,
Who from my birth have been my protector.

From the cradle to the grave,
While treading this path I must be brave.
For the gift of life is ephemeral,
But its story remains eternal.

Let me fill myself with today's ecstasy,
It feels better than yesterday's fantasy.
Oh! I am grateful for other days,
But today appeals to me in different ways

Wow! This "LET MY WISHES FLY" poem is truly inspiring and uplifting. The use of vivid imagery, such as comets in the sky and sparkling stars, creates a sense of wonder and excitement. The theme of gratitude is beautifully integrated into the poem, reminding us of the importance of appreciating our blessings.

One improvement suggestion would be to consider adding more specific details or personal anecdotes to further engage the reader. This could help make the poem more relatable and allow the reader to connect on a deeper level. Additionally, consider playing with the rhythm and rhyme scheme to add even more flow and musicality to the poem.

Overall, this poem is already brimming with positivity and enthusiasm. Keep up the fantastic work and continue harnessing the power of poetry to inspire others!
