LET MY WISHES FLY

Suzana Samuel Nomiri 2002 (JALINGO)

Let my wishes fly,
Like comets in the sky.
Let it sparkle like a star,
That stares from afar.

Let my gratitude rise,
With a fragrance that smells nice.
Ascend to thank my Creator,
Who from my birth have been my protector.

From the cradle to the grave,
While treading this path I must be brave.
For the gift of life is ephemeral,
But its story remains eternal.

Let me fill myself with today's ecstasy,
It feels better than yesterday's fantasy.
Oh! I am grateful for other days,
But today appeals to me in different ways
