The richest man alive

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

All my poems tell a story. About a man with no pride, fame, or glory. I am here for one thing: to help you in your time of need. If you should need a dime, I will give you my last one. If you ask me for a lung, I will give you one of mine. That is the only reason I'm here—for you, not me. Maybe the pay is free, but for me, I'm the richest man alive. Because of all of you by my side, I thank you all indeed and to the Lord for everything.

About this poem

I really like this one. It s how we as Christians see life. I believe it’s the Spirit of the Lord, the Holy Ghost that is inside of us that showing us what life is really about. That’s the feeling I get too. Thank you for reminding me .
