Twos
A curious thing I have observed in life’s grand scheme,
In this world, vast and extreme,
There is a profound duality that forever exists.
A rule of twos persists.
Could good be understood
If evil did not exist?
Would virtue be appreciated less,
Would beauty’s grace be missed?
Yin and yang, light and dark, explains
Many forces in life,
Our pleasures and pains,
Given fire and ice.
Nature gives all colors and hues,
But there remains
Stark contrasts in views,
Black and white twins, the spectrum ends.
Side by side,
Heights to which we aspire,
Lows of the depths we may slide,
The inevitable fateful pair.
A mystical quality of two
In the code shown binomially,
Is zero and one, too.
All given Divinely.
