Easy Pleasing

Easy pleasing on my eyes you are to me.
With qualities that awaken,
My dormant...
Yet those embers,
You ignite.
Possibilities you begin to arouse,
What could be...
Either a sincere attraction.
Or your ability to keep,
An aging man like me to believe...
You are more than a tease.
Hoping my life insurance policy,
Is whole life and not term coverage.
If I gave you the key to unlock the door.
To have more than a fling.
Until something done to me 'accidently'.
Leaving you the benefactor,
Of my Worldly possessed things.

'What?
I am not a gold digger.
Although I must admit,
I wish I did have the key.
To unlock that door,
That would allow me to see...
What you and I could become together,
Until eternity from you leaves.'

Uh...huh?

'I mean,
Until eternity has us both...
Taking different directions.
And besides,
That sparkle twinkling in your eyes...
Has a captivating, mesmerizing,
Pull on me I simply can not ignore.
I adore you for who you are.
I don't think of your heart as a closed door.
If it had been I don't see it there anymore.'

I am a homebody.
One who snuggles and loves to cuddle up.
Easy to warm and melt quickly.
My idea of foreplay,
May take one or two hours...
Before and not after,
You notice the burning sheets...
Have been extinguished by the heat.

'I like that alot.
But...
May I suggest one thing before you start?'

Sure.
By all means, suggest!

'Do you snore?
And sleep deeply?'

Why would you ask something like that?

'Well...
I want to be sure,
I'm not accused or blamed...
For being the one that caused,
You to have a heart attack.'

You're joking, right?

'That depends.'

On what?

'Your medical records.
And what your doctor has to say.'

Medical records?
My doctor?

'Hey.
You brought up age.
Life insurance coverage.
How you're easy to warm and melt quickly.
Me being a benefactor.
And all I thought we would have,
Is a one night stand.
Sooo, I...
Just wanted to know,
If you sleep deeply without snoring...
I wouldn't have to lay next to you,
Wondering if both of us are satisfied.
Or...
If one of us has died.
That's all.
You had me thinking,
With you I should be more proactive.
And relying on attraction,
Is something people should considered...
The consequences first.'

I'm not proposing marriage.

'Why not?
I've already imagined myself,
In a wedding dress.
Sharing vows.
And crying my eyes out.
When the minister asks,
If I promise to love and cherish you...
In sickness and health.
Until death do us part.
And we have not yet,
Told each other our names.'

Oh...
LOL.

'I admit I am very attracted to you.
But instead of taking one step at a time,
You ran up a flight of stairs.
Losing my breath.
Scaring me to death.
Wondering if I should wait to hear you snore.
Or...
If I should sleep peacefully!
And now...
You gave me cause and reason,
To see your doctor.
And carefully discuss your medical records.'

So...
This between us is going to be more,
Than just a one night stand?

'I hope so.
That's if your doctor approves.'
