Whole

                    Whole
                  By Nancy Rodriquez

The journey has been long,
At times, with winding roads,
Without a lamp for light, it was easy to turn wrong ,
Every curve felt alone ,
As I fought the urge to turn back ,
Reaching for you became my one desire,
It no longer mattered what I may have lacked,
My passion was as if a burning fire,
Cinched me and had taken control,
I would not be denied this course,
When we reunite, I am suddenly whole,
The stars aligned, and we were led by the Universe being in one accord.
