Loving Another

Loving another.
Has its ups and downs.
Smiles and frowns.
Sometimes the taste is bitter.
And other times that taste is craved.
With an appetite,
No one else can satisfy.
Or attempt to try a doing to beat.
24 hours, 7 days a week.

Loving another,
Can start arguments to begin...
Opening a door with threats to warn,
One has had enough.
And the other says, "Go!
Leave me alone. Permanently!
Name one thing,
I need or want you for?
Open the door.
If I don't see you anymore.
That's fine. Go!"

And hours pass.
As tears of both began to flow.
Then a key is heard to open,
A closed tight door.

Loving another,
Has its ups and downs.
Smiles and frowns.
Sometimes that taste is bitter.
And at other times that taste is craved.
Yet loving another,
Like two love each other...
No one can replace,
What two together who love each...
Can ever do better.
Like two knowing each other,
With time together spent...
Tolerating nonsense and petty arguments.
Eventually come together to laugh and agree.
Stupidity to welcome it over nothing,
Takes both of them to sit.
And discuss their acts of childishness!

'Why do you insist leaving the toilet seat up.
When you know I may need to use,
The bathroom?'

'And why can't you just turn on the light.
To see for yourself the toilet seat is up?'

'Oh yeah?
Okay.
Who accuses me,
For the electricity bill being as high as it is?
Who?'

'LOL.
Who has said the burning of candles,
Flickers too much.
And...
They can not concentrate on what they do?
Me?
Or you?'

'Okay.
I should have had said nothing.
Was that the reason,
You threaten to leave me?'

'Well...
Yes.'

'LOL.
And you call me stupid?'

'I did not call you stupid.
I said...
What we both were doing is stupid!
Geeessshhh!'

'Well.
I will admit,
I'm glad and happy...
You came back to apologize.'

'I did what?
I...
Okay.
I apologize.'

'Thank God we became friends.
Before we knew,
How much we love each other.'

'Loved?'

'I said LOVE.
L-O-V-E, dummy!'

'There you go again,
Calling me stupid!'

'I said Dummy, dummy.
Geeessshhh!'

'Stop.
LOL.
You too funny!'
