Germ Free

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Complete and total avoidance,
Of human contact.
Covering the body,
From head to toe.
With biodegradable plastic.
Sprayed for at least two weeks,
Done to do,
As recommended by scientifically...
Approved,
Disinfectant.

Then...
Search the seeking of just one tree.
A tree that has not been influenced,
By surrounding trees...
Regardless of their origin.
Or appearance of having...
A diversified identity.
And when then to be made convinced.
Become a life long friend of that tree.
To know...
Without a doubt to have.
As you sit reminiscing.
And sharing memories.
How it was,
You became germ free.
And blessed...
To live the rest of your life,
Without fear or threats...
Of catching the flu!

'That's ridiculous!
The flu?
The flu...
Is not even mentioned anymore!'

'Where is it?
There once had been a flu season.
What happened to it?
Nothing that celebrated,
To await for it.
Just like that...disappears!
Comeon!
Something tells me,
The flu is up to something.'

'Have you lost your mind?
That's crazy talk.
Come down. NOW!'

'NO WAY!
I'M TELLING YOU...
NO ONE MISSES THE FLU SEASON,
AS MUCH AS THE FLU DOES.
SOMETHING IS UP WITH THAT.
AND...
WHEN THE FLU SEASON RETURNS.
MAKING ITS 'COMEBACK'.
I WILL COME DOWN.
AND NOT A MINUTE BEFORE!
